Macrothermodynamics of Biological Evolution and the Aging of Living Organisms. Physicochemical Dietetics

چکیده
The author sets forth-general considerations pertaining to the thermodynamic theory of biological evolution and the aging of living organisms. It becomes much easier to comprehend the phenomenon of life scrutinizing the formation of structural hierarchies of biological matter applying different temporal scales. These scales are identified by nature itself, and this is reflected in the law of temporal hierarchies. The author discusses some misunderstandings in thermodynamics and evolutionary biology. He postulates that the origin of life and the evolution of living systems can be studies using the known functions of state within the framework of quasi-closed models with the help of quasi-equilibrium macrothermodynamics (hierarchical thermodynamics). A simple physicochemical model of biological evolution and the development of living beings is proposed. The adequacy of this model to reality is proved. The considered theory makes it possible to use physicochemical evaluations to develop effective anti-aging diets and to recommend food additives and medicines effective in the treatment of some diseases.

Perspectives in taxonomy and phylogeny of the genus Astragalus (Fabaceae): a review
The genus Astragalus L. (Fabaceae) is reviewed from both phyloenetic and taxonomic points of view. As the largest genus of flowering plants it has attracted many researchers, but much work remains to be done. A short taxonomic history with special focus on infrageneric classification of the genus, a list of phylogenetic studies including the applied markers and sampling strategies as well a...

Nanomaterials involve the structures with at least one dimension of <100 nm. Recently, development in nanotechnology has led to the use of nanomaterials in many different fields. On the other hand, increasing use of nanomaterials has resulted in release of these materials to the environment. Therefore, before employing these materials in biological and living systems, they should be evaluated ...
متن کاملEvoecotoxicology: Environmental Changes and Life Features Development during the Evolutionary Process—the Record of the Past at Developmental Stages of Living Organisms
For most of evolutionary history, scientific understanding of the environment and life forms is extremely limited. In this commentary I discuss the hypothesis that ontogenetic features of living organisms can be considered biomarkers of coevolution between organisms and physicochemical agents during Earth's history. I provide a new vision of evolution based on correlations between metabolic fea...
متن کاملPhylogeny and morphological traits evolution of Astragalus sects. Acanthophace and Aegacantha in Iran on the basis of nrDNA ITS and rpl32-trnLUAG sequences
In this study, phylogenetic relationships and evolutionary trends of morphological characters of Astragalus sects. Acanthophace and Aegacantha were studied using nrDNA ITS and rpl32-trnLUAG datasets while Astragalus stocksii was selected as the outgroup. The phylogenetic results indicated the non-monophyly of A. sect. Acanthophace in its current circumscription due to the distant exclusion of A...
متن کاملIsolation and screening of phytotoxin-producing actinomycetes for biological control of Cardaria draba
Cardaria draba is an important, troublesome weed in the sustainable production of wheat. Inthe first step of this study, 100 actinomycete isolates were purified from soil samples collectedfrom the rhizosphere and phyllosphere of plants in different provinces of Iran. All isolates weresubjected to primary screening by assaying the fermentation broth of the sterile surfaces of C.draba leaves. Con...
